The health benefits of chocolate

How much do you know about chocolate? Fat? Sweet? Do you know that chocolate does bring health benefits to us? Chocolate is a product based on cocoa solid or cocoa fat, and finely powdered sugar to produce a solid confection. Chocolate is a popular ingredient and is available in many types such as dark chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate, semisweet chocolate and bittersweet chocolate.

Chocolate is made from plants, which means it contains many of the health benefits of dark vegetables. These benefits are from flavonoids, which act as antioxidants. Yes, chocolate is a champion antioxidant! Antioxidants protect the body from aging caused by free radicals, which can cause damage that leads to heart disease.

Antioxidants bond to free radicals and whisk them from your body via digestion and other means. No doubt, there are many other food containing antioxidant, such as red wine, green tea, pomegranate, blueberries, strawberries and etc. However, chocolate topped all of them. Among so many types of chocolates, dark chocolate contain the most antioxidant. Antioxidant-rich diets have been linked to a lowered risk of heart attacks, stroke, cardiovascular disease, cancer, high blood pressure, cholesterol problems, arthritis, asthma, Alzheimer’s and more. So it stands to reason that if chocolate is chock full of antioxidants, it’s actually good for you.

Additionally chocolate also holds others benefit, such as stimulation endorphin production, containing serotonin which acrs as an anti-depressant, and containing theobromine, caffeine and other substances which are stimulants. My personal experience on

chocolate is, it helps for menstrual cycle pain. I’m not sure what make chocolate to be a “pain-killer” for our period pain, but it really does. Taking chocolate always makes me feel pleasure in mood, especially when you are in the dilemmas of moody mood.

BENEFIT OF GREEN TEA

Green tea has been used as medicine and as a beverage for a long time in oriental countries. Hot green tea is often taken after meals to promote good digestion of food. It was proven in clinical studies that regular green tea drinkers have lower incidence of diseases like hypertension, depression, cancer and digestive as well as kidney diseases.

This is because green tea has many substances that not only cleanses the body inside but also improves health and increases the immune system. It also has substances that can prevent or decrease obesity. This is the reason why there are less obese people in France even though they consume more fatty foods; there are also lower counts of lung cancer in Japanese men despite the fact that most of them are smokers.

Green tea is great as a beverage. It can keep you awake and alert because of its caffeine content, but unlike coffee, you won't feel any effects most coffee give like tremors, headaches and palpitations. Although it was recently discovered that coffee has antioxidant properties, green tea has even more of it. Antioxidants have anti aging effects as well as keep the cells in a normal state. The antioxidant property of green tea is due to it not being fermented. Fermentation causes tea to lose its antioxidants so.

Tea is a known diuretic and green tea is no different. This helps the kidney in cleansing the blood and ridding it of unwanted substances, preventing build up of toxins that can damage the kidneys. Aside from the kidneys, the bladder also benefits from this effect since the urine is diluted; there is smaller risk of developing kidney and bladder stones.

The intestines are also cleansed by green tea by promoting good digestion. Coupled with a balanced diet, it is a sure way to fight digestive malignancies like colon cancer and intestinal polyps.

Most modern people drink green tea for these benefits and most importantly, for its slimming effect. In today's modern world where image counts a lot, green tea is a big help. But do not forget that green tea can only do so much. Healthy living is still the key to a good looks and a healthy body.

How to Wipe a Hard Drive Clean

Reformatting the hard drive and reinstalling the operating system (OS) can be a safe option. Obviously, you cannot completely wipe a hard drive while you boot the operating system with it. You will need some floppy boot disk or CD to install the operating system, or nowadays, even some bootable USB sticks are available. So, primarily, what you need to do is overwrite the data. This is the simplest way to keep people away from your old files. However, there is a rider even here. There are specialized software available to reclaim the data even after re-installation of the OS. Going further, there are various software applications available, which help in disk wiping. They overwrite the data with zeros and ones alongside overwriting the free space as well, with several passes. Software like Darik's Boot And Nuke (DBAN) and KillDisk are free and efficiently wipe off all the data with the process of overwriting. Even if you search in Google for such software, you will get plenty of free ones. You should run these software at least thrice for effective cleaning through overwriting.

If you are someone from the business world, then hard drive cleaning has assumed a new significance for you, given the new government regulations in place. If you fail to erase the customer or clients' information, it can result in lawsuits and hefty fines. To avoid going that path, you should use extremely reliable disk cleaning software, which you have to purchase, like WipeDrive 5.0, having support for all PC and Mac computers. It permanently wipes all hard drive information including formats and partitions, and also wipes all the external hard drives, thumb drives, memory cards and iPods. The improved WipeDrive 5.0 Pro version and provides the benefits of simultaneous wiping of up to 12 hard drives, and saves you the effort of reinstalling the operating system. Overall, DBAN and WipeDrive are the most widely used hard drive cleaning software.

Also, degaussing is a technique used for destructing the data, subjecting the hard drive to a strong magnetic field. But this can permanently damage your hard drive. Of course, if you are very apprehensive of the data in the drive and want to take zero risk, a hammer is the way to go for complete destruction.

Before proceeding to wipe your hard drive, make sure you do not want any of the information for future use. If at all anything is needed, backup that data on an external hard drive or CD. Also, if you are going to clean the computer hard drive and start over again, make sure you have the installation CDs of your anti-virus, printer or any other important application. Nowadays, hard drives have become as personal as our own toothbrush (pun intended). So, it is absolutely vital that nobody gets access to our personal data as it can be embarrassing or simply cause huge monetary loss afterward. Without a doubt, a purchased drive c
